Lori Parker, LPC
Lori Parker has always believed that life is a journey—one filled with unexpected twists, detours, and challenges that can sometimes feel impossible to navigate alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, she has dedicated her career to walking alongside individuals as they work through life’s difficulties, offering support, guidance, and hope along the way.

Her path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a deep commitment to helping others find their way. After earning her master’s degree from Amberton University in 2018, Lori began working with individuals struggling with addiction and those involved in the criminal justice system. She saw firsthand how trauma and hardship can weigh heavily on a person, making it difficult to move forward. She also developed a passion for working with adolescents facing grief, helping them process loss and build resilience.

In her sessions, Lori creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, confront their struggles, and develop the skills they need to heal. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns. Currently, she is pursuing certification in Trauma Counseling to deepen her ability to support those who have experienced significant pain and adversity.

Lori works with children, adolescents, and adults, guiding them as they navigate life’s obstacles. Whether someone is battling addiction, coping with loss, or simply feeling lost, she believes in the power of self-exploration and personal growth. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered, tailored to each person’s unique experiences and needs.

For Lori, therapy isn’t just about overcoming struggles—it’s about empowering individuals to build a healthier, more fulfilling life. With warmth, compassion, and expertise, she walks with her clients, helping them find their way forward, one step at a time.
