Ange is a Counseling Intern at Full Hearts Counseling. She is a proud Alumni from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary.
Under the supervision of Angela M. Byrd, LPC-S, Ange’s counseling approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, emphasizing empathy, acceptance, and the importance of creating a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and develop practical, sustainable tools to support their mental health and overall well-being. Drawing from her background in adolescent mentorship, Ange brings experience in building authentic, supportive relationships with children, teens and young adults. She understands that people may come to counseling for many different reasons, whether they are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, difficulty navigating relationships, academic/career driven pressures, family changes, identity development, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of life. Ange is committed to creating a counseling environment where her clients feel comfortable being themselves, talking openly, and knowing they will be met with compassion and empowerment towards growth. Above all, she is honored to help others recognize their strengths, feel supported in difficult seasons, and believe in the possibility of a life of hope! |
